Where did the idea for your Tourism Agency come from?

Guilherme Paulus states that the vision for the company actually didn’t come from him rather from his long-time friend Carlos Vicente Cerchiari. Carlos spoke to him about opening up a tourism agency in Santo André where he currently lived, knowing that Paulus didn’t have the money, Carlos would allow him to simply work for the company and he would take care of the initial investment.

What is one current trend that excites you?

Technology and its ability to make our job easier and more effective, says Guilherme Paulus. He further elaborates on how technology has allowed his company to provide the request of their guest in a quicker and more precise manner without the fear of miscommunication regarding the details.

What separates you from other executives in the field?

I travel to all my hotels, says Guilherme. Being close to the operations of the company is crucial to understanding any improvements that need to be made and the conversations with guest and employees is unexchangable.

What is something that you as a businessman do over and over?

Guilherme states that his day to day involves always being apart of the day to day business, never be afraid to sweat your shirt, Guilherme says and always be attentive to the ever-changing needs of the customer.
